GESC Project
MANAGEMENT COURSE FOR CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS
In 2006 and 2007 Pact Brasil established a partnership with the GESC Institute to design, organize and implement a 15 week course, focused on training NGOs in administrative and financial management with an HIV/AIDS focus. Twenty NGOs from the city of São Paulo and other nearby cities (8 in 2006 and 12 in 2007), and a governmental organization participated in the course.
In addition to offering five months of classroom learning, the GESC Institute / Pact Brasil partnership also provided continuous technical assistance to participant NGOs to develop and implement action plans in the field of HIV/AIDS. This GESC Institute initiative is in partnership with Pact Brasil had the financial support of Pfizer Brasil.
